Description
Nubelis, the clouds never fall, they transform into memories.
An ethereal figure emerges from an organic and fluid mass. The face, with fine features and a melancholic gaze, seems to float in a dreamlike substance. The shades of pink and magenta saturate the space. The line is sharp. Dark contours structure the composition and accentuate the effect of relief.
The artist fuses here the codes of Pop Art and fantastic imagination. The technique mixes acrylic and spray paint. This process allows for perfectly smooth gradients. The rendering evokes a neo-futuristic aesthetic. The scene suggests a deep introspection. The subject almost disappears into this vaporous environment that recalls cellular or cloud-like forms.
The influence of surrealism guides this composition. The light seems to come from within the form itself. The subtle details of the face contrast with the massive aspect of the rosy structure. The whole creates a suspended atmosphere, between dream and reality. This painting explores the boundary between the human and the organic.
NEF invites you to dive into a world where imagination transcends reality. "Sensitive Elements", unveils a surreal universe with a series of hybrid portraits exploring the fusion between the human, nature, and the cosmos. Portraits neither entirely human nor entirely other, floating between dream and dystopia. Each painting becomes a mirror of our inner metamorphoses. These silent figures seem both fragile and eternal, as if they have always existed, somewhere between our world and another. The mutation is not here a violent transformation, but a soft, almost sensual fusion, a porosity. Each face becomes a point of contact: between the inside and the outside, between the intimate and the universal. NEF invents a sensitive cartography of the living, a mythology without gods, populated by entities that feel and watch.
The canvas will be delivered framed and mounted in a raw wood frame.
Presentation
Nef, born in 1977, lives and works in France, graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Lyon.
After starting out in video and graphics, she devoted herself fully to painting.
Today she exhibits in France and Asia, where her work is enjoying growing success.
NEF transports us to a parallel world through various poetic and neo-futuristic series, influenced by masters such as Moebius and James Jean. Each of his works is a bold fusion of vivid colors and subtle details, or an exploration of chiaroscuro in black and white, creating a unique aesthetic.
His poetic works invite the viewer to explore the depths of the human soul and that of nature.
A unique universe, on the border between surrealism and contemporary introspection.
Already exhibited in France and Asia, she has charted a remarkable career in galleries and with collectors. A singular sensibility charged with emotion, without excess, subtly structured.
