The “11 PM" series is an artistic exploration of human vulnerability and privacy through the lens of light voyeurism. What do we do when we're left alone in the dark? While one person says a silent prayer, another searches the internet for answers to questions they wouldn't dare voice during the day. This is an honest and unbiased look at the many facets of our nights: from deep loneliness to intimate moments when true thoughts and hidden desires come to the surface.
This work focuses on the phenomenon of everyday rituals. An evening shower, skincare, or personal hygiene—these mechanical, almost automatic actions seem mundane only at first glance. In reality, they serve as a sacred threshold marking the transition from the rational world into the realm of dreams and the unconscious.
When the body is occupied with familiar routines, the mind's control weakens. Amid the sound of running water or in the reflection of a wet mirror, hidden insights, repressed memories, and honest answers suddenly emerge. The canvas captures this subtle moment of absolute privacy: a person remains in a state of extreme openness, where the everyday cleansing of the body transforms into a purification of thoughts before plunging into one's own shadow.
