Description
Between Two Worlds, an oil painting on canvas created in 2026 by artist Alejandro Faura, presents a seated figure immersed in an ambiguous space suspended between reality and imagination. The composition, dominated by an atmosphere of blue and green tones, contrasts with the intense presence of red fish that move through the scene, seemingly traveling freely between different planes. The central figure, contemplative and silent, directs his gaze toward a point beyond the represented space, reinforcing the sense of passage between two dimensions: the visible and the inner, the real and the imagined. The fish function as symbolic elements connected to memory, dreams, and what remains within our inner world. Through visible, gestural brushstrokes rich in texture, Faura constructs a scene of strong visual intensity in which color and the movement of the fish create a dialogue between the figure and his surroundings, inviting the viewer into a space of contemplation, mystery, and memory.
