Description
Golden sand rises across the canvas in slow, layered drifts, while a wide current of turquoise cuts upward through the centre — the desert opening into sky. The composition holds the two forces in tension: the weight of ochre, bronze and deep brown along the edges, and the cool, weightless blue that breaks through the middle and refuses to be closed.
The surface is built through pouring and layering, allowing the material to find its own direction before being brought to stillness. A final coat of epoxy resin gives the work a deep, liquid gloss: the golds shift and reawaken as the daylight moves across them, so the painting is never quite the same twice. Fine dark lines run through the composition like wind traces left in sand.
Conceived as a statement piece for a large wall, this work anchors a contemporary interior — an entrance hall, a living room, a private residence — where scale and presence matter more than decoration.

Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Turik & Art, with a background in luxury interior design. Over the past 25 years, I've worked with private clients to create refined interiors — and each time, I found myself searching for the perfect artwork to complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
My artistic journey evolved naturally from my design work, and now I focus on creating one-of-a-kind pieces that carry emotion, movement, and energy — artworks that not only exist within a space but transform it.
I've had the honor of exhibiting at landmark venues including Art Capital at the Grand Palais (2025), 3F Paris (Porte de Versailles) and the Carrousel du Louvre, and my works are now in private collections internationally and in the Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo.
Each piece I create is unique. Upon request, I also offer commissioned artworks tailored to your interior's color palette, energy, and atmosphere — making your space truly personal and exclusive.
