Description
The Shape of Moving Water is an original large beige and blue abstract painting, created in 2026 as part of my Sculpted Waves Collection.
I created this painting inspired by the fascinating way water moves through nature, constantly changing its shape while maintaining its strength and direction. I wanted to capture that effortless movement in a composition where flowing lines meet soft, layered textures.
A graceful wave stretches across the canvas, bringing together warm sand beige, taupe, ivory, and earthy brown with slate blue, smoky grey, deep charcoal, and luminous turquoise. Delicate golden accents follow the curves, while fine vertical drips add depth and movement.
Using acrylic paint, palette knives, and expressive brushwork, I developed contrasting smooth and textured surfaces that give the painting its distinctive character.
For me, this artwork represents the beauty of transformation and the freedom to follow one's own path.
Its generous scale and sophisticated neutral palette make it an elegant statement piece for contemporary, minimalist, and coastal-inspired interiors.
Original acrylic on canvas, 2026. Size: 140 × 100 cm (55.1 × 39.4 in), horizontal orientation. Unstretched canvas, shipped rolled. Signed on the front.
