Serene garden, 2026

Natalya Mougenot   Best sellers

"Serene Garden" is an original contemporary floral painting in an expressive, colourful, impressionist style by French-based artist Natalya Mougenot, created with acrylic paints on heavyweight professional acid-free paper, measuring 29.7 × 42 cm (11.7 × 16.5 inches).

This painting is an invitation to slow down, breathe and reconnect with the simple beauty of everyday life. Through vibrant colours, expressive brushstrokes and freely layered shapes, Natalya explores the feeling of calm, freshness and quiet happiness that nature can bring into our lives. The contrast between luminous greens, soft purples and warm orange tones creates a joyful atmosphere, while the spontaneous, energetic brushwork gives the composition a sense of movement and life.

For Natalya, painting is not about reproducing reality perfectly, but about expressing the emotions that a moment awakens. In Serene Garden, she transforms a peaceful moment into a celebration of colour, nature and inner harmony.

Framing advice:
For a standard and easy-to-find option, I recommend an A3 frame (29.7 × 42 cm / 11.7 × 16.5 inches). Choose a simple white, natural wood or light oak frame for a fresh, contemporary look, or a thin black frame for a more striking contrast.

For an elegant gallery-style presentation, consider an A2 frame (42 × 59.4 cm / 16.5 × 23.4 inches) with a custom-cut white or off-white mat (mount) and an opening of 29.7 × 42 cm (11.7 × 16.5 inches). This will give the painting more breathing space and beautifully highlight its vibrant colours.
