"Spring Burst" Oil Painting by French Artist Natalya Mougenot | Contemporary Floral Art on Cardboard (35x27x0.3 cm | 13.8"x10.6"x0.1")

This vibrant floral painting is part of her ongoing series devoted to flowers and their changing moods through the seasons. Measuring 35 × 27 × 0.3 cm (approximately 13.8 × 10.6 × 0.1 inches), it is painted in oil on cardboard, which gives the surface a tactile, intimate presence.

In this work, Natalya captures the energy of spring flowers bursting from a blue vase, using generous, expressive brushstrokes and a luminous palette of greens, whites, yellows, and warm background tones.

Her style is instantly recognizable: bold, confident strokes, visible texture, and a focus on emotion and movement rather than strict botanical realism. Each stroke feels spontaneous yet intentional, reflecting her authentic artistic vision.

As Natalya says, “Art is what you feel inside"—a motto that captures her intuitive, spontaneous approach, often completing works in a single sitting to preserve raw emotion.

Her practice embodies metamodernism, blending hope and complexity to explore the human experience from the "inner adult" perspective.

She creates not just to sell, but to connect people through art, helping them feel human again—an escape from life's difficulties, a soul-to-soul dialogue: “I paint to speak from soul to soul. From my inner world to the one who feels."

Influenced by Vincent van Gogh's intensity, Paul Cézanne's structure, and Henri Matisse's color joy, Natalya reinterprets them in her contemporary language.

“Spring Burst" can be framed and hung on the wall, or leaned on furniture for a contemporary floral accent. It suits art lovers of expressive modern florals, bright modern interiors, Scandinavian spaces, or eclectic bohemian homes seeking joyful, painterly spring energy.
