Description
A sunlit interior opens onto a grandiose landscape. The scene captures a moment of absolute calm. A yellow sofa draws the eye to the center of the room. Colorful cushions bring a graphic touch to the furniture.
Large glass doors erase the boundary between domestic comfort and wild nature. Outside, blue mountains reflect in the peaceful waters of a lake. The sky, streaked with white clouds, brings a soft light to the composition.
The color work favors sharp contrasts. The warm tones of the architecture respond to the cool nuances of the panorama. Green plants frame the view, adding an organic depth to the space.
The line is precise. Geometric shapes structure the room with rigor. The light seems to come from everywhere, saturating every surface with clarity. The whole forms a serene painting, where the perspective guides the eye toward the mountain horizon.
Presentation
Barbara Schaumann is a contemporary artist born in 1961 in Germany, who is capturing vibrant, abstract interpretations of movement and dance. Her work uniquely blends bold colours with modern, geometric shapes, drawing inspiration from elements of cubism and abstraction. For many years, Schaumann worked as an art teacher, inspiring young minds with her passion for creativity and expression. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Schaumann is an avid dancer, embracing traditional styles such as Irish, Scottish, and standard ballroom dances.
This passion for movement deeply influences her work, infusing it with a sense of rhythm and energy. Her art celebrates the fluidity and strength of the female body, resulting in striking compositions that blend traditional themes with fresh, contemporary aesthetics.
