Description
With "Nature takes back its rights", I present a work for which I have taken the path of photography (painting with light) and painting by mixing the two techniques.
These black and white photographs taken by myself are graphic compositions taken from the world of plants, trees, twigs, wood; attached the Tuileries in Paris. They are set in motion by the color touch of the ink.
Color releases the frozen image, awakens it, crosses it, transforms it, “creates the wall” when human beings can no longer do so (those border walls that spring up all over the world).
The memory of the photograph becomes unreal, the image is now a view of the mind, a painting. Nature wakes up, pushes back, “takes back its rights” to occupy the place.

Presentation
Helga Stüber-Nicolas is a German artist, born in Hanover, living and working in Montpellier.
A multidisciplinary artist, she experiments with collage, relief on paper, drawing, photography and other areas of creation. For many years, she has developed a practice around colored pencils, from which she extracts the unlimited creative possibilities of the material in two and three dimensions.
