This artwork showcases two dynamic black and white images capturing the essence of a classical sculpture in motion. The left panel features a blurred, almost ghostly figure, emphasizing swift movement and recalling the forms of a discus thrower or a dancer in mid-action. In contrast, the right panel presents a closer, more detailed view of the same figure, highlighting its muscular definition and classical elegance. The juxtaposition of motion and stillness creates a striking visual tension, inviting viewers to explore the boundaries between art and life. The use of blur and sharp focus cleverly manipulates perceptions of time, capturing both the fleeting moment of motion and the eternal stasis of sculpture. The monochromatic palette enhances the dramatic interplay of light and shadow, imbuing the work with timeless sophistication and contemporary flair.

Artioli captures beauty through his camera, creating artistic, painterly images by intentionally moving the camera during long exposures. These images represent "the impression" of a world in constant movement.
