Religion Photography for Sale

Although apparently distant, photography and religion are in fact intimately linked, as Marie-Josée Mondzain demonstrates in her book Image, icône, économie. Indeed, both have a common vocabulary ("revelation", "light") but not only ! Religion and art go hand in hand, one using the other ; religion needs representation to be understood by all, thus providing many subjects to art.
