Description
Léa Dedieu's "Le Séchoir" series is inspired by the movement of laundry in the process of drying. She created this series of canvases from the domestic gesture of taking care of the laundry. This linen is mottled, recycled and dyed by him. Red is a reference to energy, intended to draw movement in the space of the performance. Like Christo who reveals by hiding architectures, Léa reveals a repetitive and daily gesture in a staged performance.
Presentation
Léa Dedieu, a young designer, graduated from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, creates objects and furnishes spaces. Fascinated by color, she draws her inspiration from the work of the Impressionists, Pop culture, the acid reflections of Maurizio Cattelan and contemporary designers, Pierre Charpin, Bertjan Pot or Marcel Wanders. What she likes is experimenting without material limits. Before each creation, she draws, flattens geometric shapes and measures. Between two technical drawings hides his graphic universe. Painting, pencil, watercolor, felt-tip pens, Indian ink ... All mediums are used to invent an imposing flower, a silhouette, a decoration. A complete artist, she is overflowing with creativity and the desire to create.
