Description
This captivating sculpture depicts a seated female figure, captivating with its grace and simplicity. The delicate features and choice of pose convey a sense of serenity and introspection. The raw material adds an organic texture, contrasting with the soft lines of the body. The bent legs and arms elegantly placed on the face evoke a moment of personal reflection. Her serene expression and the finely crafted details of the hairstyle illustrate the artist's technical skill. This masterpiece embodies a perfect harmony between the human form and matter, offering a deeply soothing visual experience. The work plays with space and light, creating subtle shadows that accentuate its ethereal presence. Each curve, each detail evokes poetry and tranquility, inviting the viewer to a silent and contemplative contemplation.
Presentation
Elisabeth and Régis
Four-handed sculptures
From clay, I imagine, I shape my creation: "the woman". During this particular exchange a dialogue is established between the earth and me, a form will come to life which will find its expression through my hands.
Régis, for his part, will ensure its durability through very gradual cooking that will protect the integrity of the clay. A patina will give it a light make-up, like a woman would make herself beautiful.
This is how our sandstone and bronze sculptures are made by four hands.
Passion that we love to share.
