Description
This captivating sculpture, made of patinated bronze, depicts a female figure lying on her stomach, propped up on her elbows, her head resting in her hands. Her legs are gracefully raised, adding a delicate and dreamy touch to the work. Every detail, from the soft texture of her hair to the subtle folds of the fabric surrounding her hips, speaks to the sculptor's artistic skill. The golden patina of the bronze lends a luminous warmth that accentuates the harmonious curves of the body. This bold and relaxed positioning contrasts with the solidity of the bronze, creating a fascinating tension between the lightness of the pose and the robustness of the material. This piece draws the eye with its perfect blend of realism and idealism, an ode to tranquility and inner contemplation.
Presentation
Elisabeth and Régis
Four-handed sculptures
From clay, I imagine, I shape my creation: "the woman". During this particular exchange a dialogue is established between the earth and me, a form will come to life which will find its expression through my hands.
Régis, for his part, will ensure its durability through very gradual cooking that will protect the integrity of the clay. A patina will give it a light make-up, like a woman would make herself beautiful.
This is how our sandstone and bronze sculptures are made by four hands.
Passion that we love to share.
