Description
This captivating sculpture depicts a woman in a relaxed position, lying on her side. The use of an earthy material gives the work an organic and warm texture, emphasizing the sensuality of the subject. The woman's posture, with one leg bent and the other delicately placed, expresses a natural grace and serene abandon. Her head tilted back and her face turned towards the sky betray an expression of ecstasy or contemplation. The subtle details of her clothing, delicately sculpted, add a dimension of realism while maintaining an element of mystery. This piece is a celebration of the harmony between body and mind, perfectly executed by the artist. Her soft and fluid lines capture movement and emotion, transforming the sculpture into a living testament to feminine beauty and elegance.
Presentation
Elisabeth and Régis
Four-handed sculptures
From clay, I imagine, I shape my creation: "the woman". During this particular exchange a dialogue is established between the earth and me, a form will come to life which will find its expression through my hands.
Régis, for his part, will ensure its durability through very gradual cooking that will protect the integrity of the clay. A patina will give it a light make-up, like a woman would make herself beautiful.
This is how our sandstone and bronze sculptures are made by four hands.
Passion that we love to share.
