Description
This striking sculpture captures a female figure seated cross-legged with remarkable fluidity. The movement of the wind in her hair evokes a sense of freedom and spontaneity. The artist has impeccably rendered the details of the facial features and muscles, giving the work an admirable depth and liveliness. The serene expression of the woman, combined with her relaxed posture, invites the viewer to a calm and introspective reflection. The clean lines and textured finish of the material emphasize the contrast between tenacity and softness. This creation perfectly illustrates the harmonization between form and emotion, making this piece a tribute to feminine grace and silent contemplation.
Presentation
Elisabeth and Régis
Four-handed sculptures
From clay, I imagine, I shape my creation: "the woman". During this particular exchange a dialogue is established between the earth and me, a form will come to life which will find its expression through my hands.
Régis, for his part, will ensure its durability through very gradual cooking that will protect the integrity of the clay. A patina will give it a light make-up, like a woman would make herself beautiful.
This is how our sandstone and bronze sculptures are made by four hands.
Passion that we love to share.
