Description
This sculpture immediately draws the eye with its bold aesthetic and its contrast between softness and aggression. Representing an anthropomorphic bear in a welcoming posture, it is entirely covered in conical points that divert the reassuring image of the teddy bear. This duality creates a work that is at once playful, provocative, and resolutely contemporary.
Its emerald green chrome finish, with a mirror-like shine, captures and reflects light with intensity, giving the sculpture a spectacular presence from all angles. The multiple reflections accentuate the relief of the points and bring a visual depth that evolves according to the environment.
Presented on an elegant cane wood pedestal topped with a black marble slab, the sculpture takes on a sculptural and decorative dimension. Its vibrant coloring contrasts harmoniously with the noble materials of the furniture and the neutral tones of the interior, making this work a true focal point. It fits just as well in a contemporary living room, a refined entrance hall, or a collector's office, where it brings a touch of character, humor, and sophistication.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
