Description
This contemporary sculpture represents a stylized bear whose apparent softness contrasts with a surface entirely covered in conical points. Made in a copper metallic finish with a mirror effect, it captures and reflects light with intensity, causing its nuances to evolve according to the environment.
Presented on an elegant pedestal in black marble framed with brass, the sculpture becomes a real focal point. Its raised right arm brings a playful and welcoming touch, while its ultra-shiny treatment reinforces its pop and resolutely contemporary aesthetic. The contrast between the childlike lines of the bear and its surface bristling with points creates a fascinating visual tension, oscillating between tenderness and provocation.
Ideal on a pedestal, console, or buffet, this work integrates perfectly into a design interior, where it brings a bold, luxurious, and resolutely modern note. Its copper mirror finish subtly dialogues with noble materials such as marble, brass, or dark wood, sublimating the space with a strong sculptural presence.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
