Description
This dynamic artwork is a striking three-dimensional piece that melds vibrant colors and textures. Dominated by bold yellows and reds, it features crumpled, fabric-like forms that seem to twist and rise organically from a subdued gray base. The interplay of colors vividly contrasts, evoking a sense of movement and energy. Dark wire elements coil through the structure, adding an industrial touch and drawing the eye along its contours. The juxtaposition of soft, billowing folds against the rigid lines suggests a dialogue between chaos and control. Presentation
Born in Georgia, he studied Literature at the University of Tbilisi, Georgia. He holds a PhD in Humanities from the University of Warsaw, Poland. He has lived in Buenos Aires since 1995.
The Georgian-Argentine artist Gaios creates a very interesting post-production work using paper as raw material in the form of books, letters or documents. The universe of Literature is the substrate of his artistic work. He rewrites the pages like a medieval scribe using graphics, signs, symbols and ideograms from the universe of visual arts.
The convergence of these two worlds is the leitmotiv of his works. Both universes are syncretized by means of psychic automatism, the artist's drives and impulses, which allow us to visualize the central core of his works: chaos.
We present part of his works forming imaginary Fibonacci series whose numerical sequences were used by Da Vinci, Velázquez and many others. This golden ratio attempts to create new dream books that guide us, without intending to, towards the Borgesian labyrinth, from which we will not be able to escape, because it is infinite and will be our essential prison.
