I am a gay and queer artist. This is the prism through which everything that infuses my artistic work and my life is viewed: it is a way of caring.
Biography
Initially an actor and videographer for the theatre, Samuel, now sam·e, develops a queer practice of sculpture and painting that deconstructs heroic virility and politically questions the body and its representations.
Her work questions the body as a political and plastic space: how norms shape our emotions and identities.
By weakening and queering the codes of the heroic body, they compose desired and desiring presences that invite new forms of resistance.
