This project is both a tribute and a creation in response to the disappearance of a major symbol of Parisian graffiti. The Z6400s are not just commuter trains: they were a moving canvas for generations of artists, an iconic medium that witnessed the history of contemporary graffiti.
By reproducing the exterior panels of these legendary trains at a full scale, "Train Part Art" immortalizes an era and gives a second life to these fragments of urban culture. This initiative is accompanied by an exceptional exhibition, bringing together the artists who have marked the history of the Paris-Saint-Lazare line.

This initiative is not just an exhibition; it is an act of remembrance, a living testimony,
and a vibrant tribute to a time when the Z6400s were much more than trains: they were the medium
for a culture in motion.

More than just an object: it is a faithful, life-size reproduction of a graffiti that actually existed
or a reinterpretation on the Z6400, accompanied by its 13x18 cm archive photo,
thus guaranteeing its authenticity and its direct link to the past.

Unlike a canvas or a lithograph, these works allow artists to relive their
actions of yesteryear, under the same conditions as at the time, and allow collectors to own a
true piece of history, steeped in graffiti culture and its illegal legacy.
It is this uncompromising authenticity that has convinced historic urban artists, long
outside the institutional art scene, to join the project. Even artists now
established in the art market are participating, thus affirming their deep attachment to illegal graffiti, its roots, and its history.
