Working drawing for the sculpture project.

Drawing is an integral part of my research into forms. In each project, it plays as important a role as clay models in defining the forms.

The Metamorphs project brings together three monumental sculptures: dance, demand and tiresias, around the transformation of the body, shifting identities and forms of resistance.
Made from pallet wood, these works explore metamorphosis as a space of freedom, fragility and power.

In Sophocles' time, Tiresias was the only mortal to have undergone "sexual metamorphosis." Here, the figure turns, inverts, stretches: verticality becomes horizontal, interpretation wavers. Inspired by the gesture of reversal, the form escapes all fixity and challenges what we think we see. Above, below, limbs, genders: everything blends, everything is recomposed. The sculpture becomes a field of active ambiguities, where the viewer's gaze participates in the activation of meaning. The body is doubled and reflected. It is dream, tension, dysphoria, and apparition. Neither defined nor definitive: it becomes possible, traversed, prophetic.

To support the project, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched.
