Pablo Berardo

Argentina

The language of Pablo Berardo's work is contained in abstract art.

This language has its bases in the images of neoplasticism, concluding it in the so-called "Op Art". Simple elements such as lines, squares and rectangles. Thickness, dimension and arrangement of the same in the plane, acquiring the precise choice of color in each of them to obtain the desired composition and effect, while leaving the contribution of the observer.

The force of geometry constantly invades his compositions, creating depths and reliefs that enter and leave the plane, challenging the viewer to participate in a universe that puts the limits of vision in permanent tension.

Black and white colors combined with pure primary colors give simplicity to the proposal, unity and interaction to its aesthetic concept. It would not be possible to speak of lines, colors and shapes, without evoking their consequences translated into motionless figures, victims of a kind of strange kinesis, nor to omit the sensation that a two-dimensional plane gives off towards infinity. and in turn. leaves the limits of the frame.
