Description
These Pines look like they have been friends forever, watching over the landscape together. To me the Eastern white pine is the like the Eiffel towers of the forests. In New England, the tallest pine trees were reserved for use in the Royal Navy. The term Kings Arrow Pine originated from this policy. Even though the Pine trees, I like best are not king quality, I love the "the battle worn ones with half a side of limbs missing.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
When objects and the viewers third eye is activated there is a sight that is not of this dimension. As if the dance between the air molecules and the object molecules intermingle with each other. That vision is what I see in landscapes. It is as if the outline of the object is moving or sometimes disappearing.
