Splash 56 - action painting on round canvass (1), 2024

Mark Hellbusch

"Splash 56" is a vibrant and dynamic artwork I created in 2024. This round painting, with a diameter of 140 cm, captivates with its intense blue background and a lively explosion of paint splashes.

The painting features dynamic splashes and lines in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white. These colors were applied energetically and spontaneously, conveying a sense of movement and vitality. Overlapping lines and colors form a complex and captivating composition.

The strong blue background offers a stark contrast to the vibrant colors, making them stand out and enhancing the visual impact of the piece.

For "Splash 56," I used experimental techniques. A modified drill kept the canvas in motion while the paint was applied, combining precision and spontaneity.

This painting is ideal for collectors and art enthusiasts seeking a dynamic and creative highlight. "Splash 56" brings energy and a burst of colors to any space.
