Description
Blackberries in the Water Garden __ Beauty is Everywhere - just notice. Soft blue reflects balance and harmony. From a color perspective, light blue is a peaceful, calming color. According to color psychology, blue is associated with trustworthiness and reliability. Blue is also said to promote feelings of tranquility; light blue's gentle appearance means it is particularly likely to make that impression. Making art out of emptiness - what emerges is a gift. Artistry is a dynamic flow that opens the world to oneness - we are all connected. This fresh artwork is influenced by Color Field Painting and Abstract Expressionism, Impressionism - following the path of nature, leaves fall with no rush. On Canvas / wired with sides painted - ready to hang. Protective varnish enhances color. The color field here is original fine art from my studio to your door.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Why Make Art? The truth is I believe making art chose me rather than the reverse. I'm crazy for uncovering pictures of the unseen--opening the center of simplicity, freedom, still mind, harmony. Pure Water is my muse--surprise is dreamy. Art is everywhere, it's a great big ocean. I've been making pictures since year one.
"Remember when you drank rainwater from the garden..."
