Description
This abstract artwork uses intense shades of blue and yellow to capture the essence of movement. The bold contrast between these colors creates a captivating visual dynamic. The central form, vaguely humanoid, appears to be in full dance, expressing freedom and energy. Fluid lines and rich textures reinforce this sensation of incessant movement. The blue background, evoking an aquatic or celestial atmosphere, accentuates the ethereal effect of the figure. The technique of color superposition creates an intriguing depth, engaging the viewer in both an emotional and intellectual exploration. This work stands out for its ability to blend abstraction and bodily expression, inviting reflection on the relationship between body, space, and color in a resolutely modern artistic context.
Presentation
François Sauvage is a self-taught artist whose particularity is the modeling of leather. After spending fourteen years in art workshops in Paris, he developed a unique technique that allowed him to shape life-size leather figures. Exhibited and sold all over the world, this particular mastery earned him to collaborate in the renovation of prestigious places where his decoration proposals combined aesthetics and refinement.
Since 2021 he has devoted himself entirely to his passions: clay and painting.
His large-format paintings impose and reveal a palette of colors that are sometimes soothing, playful with a pure lightness, at the same time powerful, deep and sensitive.
