Description
This fascinating work, marked by warm tones of beige and ochre, presents a captivating abstraction. The circular composition evokes an uncertain geometric form, almost tactile due to the textured application of the paint. Subtle nuances and layers of color blend harmoniously, creating an intriguing depth that draws the eye. The brushstrokes, at once fluid and angular, add a dynamic quality that suggests both movement and stability. This painting stands out for its ability to evoke emotions through its apparent simplicity and inherent complexity. The balance between earthy tones and empty spaces encourages the viewer to reflect on the boundaries between the concrete and the abstract, giving the work a timeless quality. A remarkable example of the power of abstract art to transcend genres and spark the imagination.
Presentation
Of Italian origin, Lucia Diris devoted herself from a young age to painting, drawing and graphic art, studying the basics of which she studied in Urbino, at the prestigious Higher Institute of Decorative Arts (ISIA), in Italy.
After her studies, she went to France where she pursued a multifaceted career combining painting, graphic design, cinema, video, photography, ceramics….
Over the years, thanks to the knowledge gained from all these practices, his pictorial work will evolve from figuration towards an increasingly free and refined abstraction.
