Echoes beneath, 2026

Francesca Borgo   Emerging artists

This artwork features an ethereal blend of soft, flowing forms that seamlessly merge into a nebulous background. The piece is dominated by swirling, wave-like patterns in shades of white and grey. These elements appear to float effortlessly across the canvas, creating a sense of movement and depth. The contrast between the bright, undulating shapes and the darker, shadowy areas generates a dynamic tension, evoking a feeling of mystery and introspection. The texture is smooth yet intricate, suggesting fluidity and transformation. The use of monochromatic tones enhances the dramatic effect, inviting viewers to explore the delicate interplay between light and shadow. This composition is a captivating example of abstract art that captures the essence of motion and emotion, drawing the observer into its hypnotic dance.

For me, this work reflects a quiet kind of resilience. It speaks of transformation shaped not by force, but by patience, repetition, and time. Water does not rush the mountain; it returns, listens, and slowly reshapes it. In that sense, the painting also becomes an inner landscape — a place where stillness and movement coexist, and where change unfolds gradually, almost without notice.
