Description
This work is part of a profound contemporary exploration of line, rupture, and inner balance. A black trajectory traverses the surface like a controlled axis of tension, dense and structuring. At its heart, an intense blue emerges, precise and vibrant, like a breath of fresh air amidst the silence. This deliberate contrast between darkness and light creates a visual dynamic that is both powerful and meditative.
The light-colored surface, subtly textured, acts as a resonating space. It captures the light, diffuses it, and reveals a living material that evolves according to the angle of view and the lighting. The work never fully reveals itself at once: it invites slow, almost intimate contemplation.
Created with professional-grade acrylic paint, enhanced by textural work, and protected by a high-end acrylic varnish, this artwork boasts exceptional color stability. The finish provides lasting protection against UV rays and humidity while maintaining a deep, elegant, matte, non-glossy texture, perfectly suited to the demands of contemporary galleries.
The deliberately controlled relief lends the work an almost sculptural dimension without ever disrupting the minimalist balance of the composition. Every gesture is deliberate, every material carefully measured, in an approach where technical rigor serves a pure emotional expression.
This unique piece asserts a strong contemporary aesthetic, both architectural and poetic. It naturally finds its place in high-end interiors, private collection spaces, galleries, or demanding architectural environments.

Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
