Description
On the canvas—a quiet, almost heavenly apparition.
From light brushstrokes, a face emerges, like a memory from the clouds. Blue and white paints swirl above the head, transforming into a flock of birds taking flight, like thoughts or dreams. Their wings touch the sky and the city in the distance, where domes and the outlines of the world are barely discernible.
The face is calm and pensive. The eyes gaze through space, as if listening to the silence. The lips — a tiny dot of warm colour — are the sole living spark amidst the cold, celestial hues.
The paint is applied thickly, with texture, as if the wind itself were sculpting the image from clouds and water. The birds take flight, and with them rises something invisible — hope, memory or the soul.
This is a painting about the lightness and fragility of the moment when a person becomes part of the sky.
