There are moments that cannot be named — only felt. A hand lifting toward another face not to possess, but simply to say: I see you. I am here.
"The Pulse of Life" was born from that exact breath between two people — the suspended second before words would only diminish what silence already holds perfectly.
Two women exist in this canvas as both opposites and mirrors. One turned inward, dark and grounded, leaning close with eyes closed as if listening to something the world has long forgotten how to hear. The other — luminous, gold-kissed, her face tilted back in a kind of surrender that looks, somehow, like freedom. Between them: no transaction, no performance. Only the oldest, most honest thing — presence.
The classical figures, rendered with the tenderness of another century, are interrupted — deliberately, lovingly — by raw bursts of spray paint. Crimson. Emerald. The electric pulse of something alive and uncontainable. Because that is what real intimacy does. It refuses to stay inside the lines society drew for it.
This painting does not ask for your permission to move you. It simply does.
