Coastal Alignment, 2026

This is an original contemporary abstract painting from my Oceanic Geometry collection, created in 2026. This one-of-a-kind artwork explores the harmony between architecture, water, and light through balanced geometry, layered textures, and a refined contemporary palette.

Inspired by the calm atmosphere of modern waterfront architecture, I wanted to create a composition where solid architectural forms gradually dissolve into reflections and open space. Instead of illustrating a specific location, I translated the rhythm of the coastline into abstract geometry, allowing structure, light, and movement to exist in quiet balance.

The painting was created using multiple layers of professional acrylic paint applied with palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive mark-making. Rich textures give the surface remarkable depth while subtle tonal transitions respond beautifully to changing natural light, revealing new details throughout the day.

Its elegant palette combines soft sky blue, muted ocean blue, ivory white, warm beige, taupe, stone grey, charcoal black, and deep espresso brown. The cool blues evoke tranquil water and expansive skies, while the darker architectural elements introduce rhythm, contrast, and stability. Together these colours create a sophisticated atmosphere suitable for both residential and commercial interiors.

Although entirely abstract, often evokes contemporary marinas, coastal architecture, reflective harbours, distant horizons, and minimalist landscapes. Existing between geometric abstraction and atmospheric landscape, it invites personal interpretation while bringing serenity and elegance into the surrounding space.

Its panoramic format makes it an ideal statement artwork for luxury residences, contemporary homes, boutique hotels, executive offices, reception areas, galleries, and yacht interiors. The refined palette complements Scandinavian, Japandi, Organic Modern, Minimalist, Coastal Contemporary, Industrial, and Modern Luxury interiors.
