Description
The acrylic flows and transforms. This abstract composition explores fluidity and movement. The technique used creates organic cells that intertwine on the canvas.
Red dominates the space. It imposes itself with intensity and warmth. A horizontal line crosses the surface. It brings visual balance and structures the composition.
Shades of blue and yellow are inserted into the interstices. These colored contrasts evoke complex networks. The eye circulates between the paint bubbles and the golden filaments.
The artist transposes here their mastery of materials. The rendering recalls the fusion of glass through the transparency and depth of the pigments.
This piece dates from 2023. It is presented in the form of an acrylic painting.
Presentation
Ghislaine Chapuis now expresses her creativity by painting canvases inspired by the fluid acrylic painting technique.
This fascinating technique, in which she has trained, has opened up new creative horizons, giving rise to paintings of astonishing colorful effervescence.
This new artistic path follows a long creative journey that Ghislaine Chapuis began by training at the Centre Européen de Recherche et de Formation aux Arts Verriers in Vannes-le-Châtel, France, where she learned the "Glass Fusing" technique, which involves assembling pieces of glass at high temperature.
Perfecting her skills, the creation of decorative glass pieces gradually led her to create glass paintings, then to imagine acrylic paintings offering the possibility of larger formats.
