Description
Filón is the Spanish word for a vein of ore — the seam of metal that runs hidden through stone until someone finds it.
The painting begins in deep blue: the blue of a sky a moment after the light has gone. Through it moves a current of copper and bronze. The two never merge. They run alongside one another, the way the Río Tinto runs through Andalusia — a river carrying the colour of the ore in the hills it cuts through, on ground that has been giving up copper since antiquity.
Worked in acrylic and lacquer on canvas, the surface holds light rather than throwing it back. The metallic passages change as you move past them: bronze at one angle, dark amber at another, almost black where the blue closes over them. From across a room the painting reads as depth. Close up, it becomes geology.
A work for a wall that can carry silence.

Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Kseniia Turik -Turik & Art, based between Paris and Marbella, with a background in luxury interior design. Working with private clients on refined interiors, I kept searching for the one artwork that would complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
I create large-scale works in acrylic, art resin and lacquer, conceived for private residences. Each piece carries emotion, movement and energy, and does not simply exist within a space but transforms it.
I have exhibited at Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris, in 2025 and 2026; at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum; at the Salon des Indépendants at the China National Convention Center in Beijing and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center; at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris; and at the Contemporary Art Fair in Marbella. My works are held in private collections internationally.
Every piece is unique. On request, I also create commissioned works tailored to the colour palette, energy and atmosphere of a specific interior.
I am the author of Seven Voices, a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are available on YouTube.
