Description
At the centre of this composition, a burst of cobalt opens outward like a sudden intake of breath. Everything around it is dense, dark, vertical — layered pours of black, white and pale gold that build up into columns of matter, fissured and mineral, closer to weathered stone than to paint. Between them a single band of warm light holds the upper field, and the eye is pulled towards it before the blue interrupts.
The work is built in poured acrylic on canvas and sealed under art resin. The resin does not sit on the surface as a finish; it becomes the surface. It holds the pigment in suspension, gives the darkness real depth, and turns the painting into something that changes as you move past it — matte where the pours are thickest, liquid and reflective where the light catches. The blue is the only gesture placed by hand, and it reads as exactly that: a mark of intention against a field that formed by its own logic.

Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Kseniia Turik -Turik & Art, based between Paris and Marbella, with a background in luxury interior design. Working with private clients on refined interiors, I kept searching for the one artwork that would complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
I create large-scale works in acrylic, art resin and lacquer, conceived for private residences. Each piece carries emotion, movement and energy, and does not simply exist within a space but transforms it.
I have exhibited at Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris, in 2025 and 2026; at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum; at the Salon des Indépendants at the China National Convention Center in Beijing and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center; at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris; and at the Contemporary Art Fair in Marbella. My works are held in private collections internationally.
Every piece is unique. On request, I also create commissioned works tailored to the colour palette, energy and atmosphere of a specific interior.
I am the author of Seven Voices, a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are available on YouTube.
