Description
The center of the canvas is three anthropomorphic faces.
The plot appeals to eternal themes - the allegory of the family, the concept of spiritual protection (guardian angels), the internal psychological splitting of the human "I". The smaller central figure is like a fragile soul or a child who is under the protection of higher or parental forces.
A horizontal line of hot golden-orange light flashes across the composition. It does not simply divide the space, but symbolizes the boundary between the earthly and the spiritual, a flash of awareness or a divine spark.
The painting is made in oil on a solid base.
The cold, mystical palette deepens the effect of the images glowing from within.
The author's frame as part of an art object. The painting is inseparable from its frame. The oil painting is glued into a wide handmade wooden frame with a rich stucco relief.
The frame is painted in complex pink-lilac and purple tones. On its surface, additional silhouettes of faces and plant patterns are engraved and sculpted in plaster, visually extending the space of the painting outward.
The coarse hemp rope on which the work is suspended adds elements of ethno-modernism to the object, turning the painting into an original artifact or home amulet.
