Who was famous for painting birds?
One artist famous for their bird paintings is John James Audubon, an American self-trained artist and naturalist who lived during the late 18th and 19th centuries. He was also trained in ornithology, the study of birds, and is known for his extensive illustrations documenting American species of bird.
