With Balance the artist starts exploring more deeply the boundaries of the photographic media by mixing it with different techniques on a very traditional subject (classic sculptures). Pictures come from the collections of the Archeologic Museum of Naples and the Louvre in Paris. This artwork presents a striking interplay between classical sculpture and contemporary design. A classical statue, elegantly shaded in pink, forms the backdrop, exuding a sense of timelessness and historical reverence. Intriguingly, the statue's face is obscured by a circular floral motif, richly adorned with vibrant flowers on a lush green background. This bold juxtaposition blends the antiquity of sculpture with the vividness of modern floral patterns, creating a dialogue between past and present. The vertical extension of the floral pattern adds an element of continuity, drawing the viewer's eye and emphasizing the contrast between the classical form and the modern embellishment. The choice of a bright pink background further intensifies this contrast, making the piece captivatingly vibrant and modern, while still anchored in tradition.
