Self-portrait Photography for Sale
Although taking selfies has become commonplace, fear not, a self-portrait is much more than that. A self-portrait is a more beautiful, more demanding, more reflective work. It is the approach and the interpretation of the self that determine the finished result. Photography makes the exercise all the more complex because there is (almost) nowhere to hide. Everything is brought to light, the imperfections, the traces of time, the emotion of the moment. The photographic rendering is then built upon using techniques chosen by the artist between framing, lighting, depth, and even the changing of surroundings.
