Description
Matthieu FORICHON is one of those contemporary artists who naturally captures details. He has a certain talent for creating atmospheres, moments of life, which very often words cannot describe. Pieces of time captured in notebooks, his contemporary illustrations (digital art) feature women and a setting, often urban, with the light of the contemporary artist making the link between these two creative axes.
His world and this image of women, fashion and French luxury make him work for major brands. In advertising, the contemporary artist has illustrated Louis Vuitton, Nespresso, Lillet, Camus cognacs, Neuhaus chocolates... Collaborating with several national press titles, we find his digital art signature in Marie-Claire, Read magazine, Classica, but also for the international press in the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe... The contemporary artist recognized for the quality of his sets and his lighting effects, is also regularly requested for animation (motion design in digital art).
Presentation
It was on the sidelines of his scientific studies that Matthieu Forichon felt in love with drawing and learned to make images. Self-taught, geometry and mathematics still brought him perspectives and rigor in his artistic approach. With an engineering degree in hand, he finally decided to devote himself entirely to illustration. He quickly began to carry out commissioning work for French and then international brands.
Lyonnais at heart, he has always been in love with the atmosphere of cafes, he met the painter Jacques Truphémus and together, they talked about painting for long hours and thanks to his kindness and his advices, Matthieu Forichon started to paint on the sidelines of his work as a digital illustrator.
Passionate about atmospheres and play of light, his figurative painting brushes silent atmospheres where the gaze likes to get lost.
