Description
This 1970 etching testifies to a rigorous research into the line. The orange line unfolds with precision on a deep black background. It fragments the space into irregular geometric zones.
The approach favors pure and stripped-down abstraction. Each segment draws an organic, almost cartographic network. The chromatic contrast accentuates the visual tension.
The work is part of a journey marked by the study of architecture and geometric abstraction. The artist uses minimalism here to explore the structure of the void.
The technical rendering emphasizes the fineness of the line and the density of the ink. This composition plays on the balance between mathematical rigor and natural fluidity.
The print rests on white paper whose margin strictly frames the dark field.
