Description
Urban art meets the aesthetic of Pop Art here. This graphic composition revisits a pop culture icon with a geometric approach. The character fragments into multiple facets.
The visual effect recalls the folding of paper. Each segment is filled with complex patterns and lettering inspired by graffiti. The contrast is marked between the deep black background and the saturated colors.
Red and yellow dominate the palette. Splatters and circles punctuate the contours to energize the silhouette. The precision of the line emphasizes rigorous technical mastery.
This digigraph plays on the superposition of styles. It mixes the influence of comics with the energy of street art. The light seems to emanate from the center of the face, accentuating the artificial relief.

Maxime Blachère is an atypical artist from Savoy, now living near Lyon and present in 25 countries and several art galleries in Europe and the US. Maxime Blachère's universe is filled with humor and saturated colors.
Self-taught and versatile, his sources of inspiration are multiple. Comics, pop culture, photography and of course Street-art.In phase with the Fluxus movement, he uses and mixes the codes of the environments that inspires him and of the artists he meets to give free rein to his imagination and deliver offbeat works, sometimes naive, sometimes subversive, like his series of works "Vandal is color" where Maxime takes pleasure in virtually vandalizing urban landscapes around the world.
