Fanny Finkelman Szyller

La Gota Fría. Wall sculpture From the series Assembler Iron / plexy / chrome Dimensions: 40.6 H x 40.6 W x 3 D cm.

This artwork presents a bold interplay of geometric forms and contrasting textures. At its center, a vivid red circle demands attention against a stark black backdrop, symbolizing intensity and focus. Encircling the red sphere is a rugged, dark ring, creating a boundary that emphasizes the circle's vibrancy. Cutting through this dramatic scene is a sleek, metallic shape, reminiscent of a blade, introducing a dynamic tension and a sense of movement. The reflective surface of the metallic form adds an intriguing dimension, interacting with light and inviting closer inspection. The composition balances simplicity with complexity, making powerful use of color and form to evoke a sense of energy and intrigue. This piece stands out for its striking minimalism combined with an assertive, modern aesthetic.

Fanny Finkelman's sculptures are the result of a continuous exploration of the many materials with which the artist has worked over the years. The artist's three-dimensional sculptures are full of transparency through the combination of various materials and objects that have been thrown away. Adding color to each piece is essential, but within the aesthetic context that controls the final form.
