Pearl Silence explores drapery, motion, and light through pure sculptural form. Deep crossing folds ripple across the panel, their pearlescent surface shifting between ivory, silver, and soft lilac depending on the viewing angle. Built through successive layers of hand-carved acrylic resin, the work carries a tactile, almost textile-like presence — silent, luminous, and quietly monumental.
Markings: Signed front and verso. Reverse bears a handwritten poem, title, technique, dimensions, year, and artist signature.

Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
