Description
This wall sculpture diverts an industrial faucet into a contemporary work of art with a powerful visual language. From a white faucet, topped with an emblematic red handle, a long, metallic red drop flows with a mirror finish, frozen in a suspended moment. Its slender shape evokes a precious liquid in motion, stopped just before falling.
The contrast between the immaculate white of the faucet, the intense red of the valve, and the deep reflections of the drop creates a striking graphic composition. The highly reflective surface captures the light and its surroundings, giving the work a living presence that evolves according to the viewpoint.
At the intersection of pop art, industrial design, and contemporary art, this creation transforms an everyday object into a strong symbol. The red drop can evoke passion, energy, power, but also the fragility of life or the urgency to act. The work deliberately leaves a great freedom of interpretation, inviting each viewer to project their own reading onto it.
Streamlined, bold, and resolutely modern, this sculpture immediately attracts the eye. A true piece of character, it fits just as well in a contemporary interior as in a professional space or an art collection, where it brings a touch of color, dynamism, and sophistication.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
