Description
This wall sculpture revisits an industrial faucet with a clean and resolutely contemporary aesthetic. From a white faucet, topped with an emblematic red handle, a long emerald green drop flows with a mirror finish, suspended in perfect balance. The illusion of a frozen liquid gives the work a sense of movement while celebrating the still moment.
The contrast between the matte white of the faucet, the bright red of the valve, and the intensity of the metallic green creates a powerful graphic composition. The highly reflective surface of the drop captures the light and the reflections of its surroundings, reinforcing the sensation of depth and fluidity.
At the border of pop art, industrial design, and contemporary art, this creation diverts an everyday object to give it symbolic scope. The green drop can evoke nature, renewal, energy, or the preservation of resources, while leaving each person free to their own interpretation.
Minimalist, elegant, and bold, this sculpture instantly attracts the eye. A true piece of character, it integrates perfectly into a contemporary interior, a collection space, or a professional environment, where it brings a touch of color, modernity, and poetry.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
