The work of Philippe Berry explores the universe of childhood: balloons, teddy bears, Indians and cowboys figurines, snowmen, animals... they are as many poetic ways of working with bronze, his favorite material, a meterial which allows him to pursue his research on volumes and colors.

This is how the artist explains his work : "I have built this universe of bronze thinking of Antiquity, but I wanted a break with the past, I wanted colors. I have tried to work in resin, but I was not satisfied with the result, ( ... ) in terms of color, I have tried at the foundry to paint the bronze, and we needed a year to develop a system that would allow us to polish it to an extreme degree..."
