Jafet Blanch

Spain Born in: 1977

Graduate from the Barcelona Art Academy, Jafet Blanch is the kind of artist who will not finish a painting until he has pushed it as far as possible. The purpose of his art is above all to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inner meaning.
He wants the public to know what he is looking at but, at the same time, proposes a journey through an abstract experience, towards a landscape built by simple strokes of brush, of pig- ment, and which goes beyond the ordinary image. Attract the attention and curiosity of the public, because the more you look at an object, the more abstract it becomes and, ironically, more real.
