Florent Chopin

Born in: 1958 France
Florent Chopin is a French painter born in Caen in 1958. He lives and works in the Paris region.

Florent Chopin studied Social Sciences and Visual Arts in Caen. He started drawing in 1984 and entirely devoted to his paintings and collages since 1986. He received the Fénéon Award in 1998.

He is influenced by surrealism and the situationists. In his works, he mixes collages (of images and objects) and painting.
